Instructions for Display Replacement with OMNI-Service
With these step-by-step instructions, you can safely and correctly replace the display of your Stromer e-bike – including data transfer and software activation via the Stromer portal with our technical support.
1. 🛒 Order & Service Booking

Purchase new display: Order the suitable replacement display for your Stromer e-bike.

Book OMNI Replacement Service: Add the "OMNI Replacement" service to your order. This includes activation and data transfer by our team.
2. 📦 Delivery & Preparation
Once the new display has arrived, prepare for the replacement:
- Find a well-lit workspace.
- Have the instructions and any necessary tools ready. (You will receive a download after purchasing the service, SUI tool for removal Art. No. 221078)
3. 🔧 Remove Display & Install New Display

Remove old display: Follow the enclosed instructions to carefully remove the existing display.

Install new display: Mount the new display according to the instructions. Ensure correct fit and connection.
4. 📲 Activation & Data Transfer
So that we can activate your new display via the Stromer portal and transfer the data from the old display, please proceed as follows:

Display must be installed

Switch on Stromer e-bike

Ensure GPS reception (preferably outdoors or in a GPS-friendly environment)

Have frame number ready → You can find this in the battery compartment of your Stromer bike
📞 Contact us by phone as soon as everything is prepared. Together, we will carry out the activation and data transfer.
⚠️ Important note on installation
The installation is carried out at your own risk. We accept no liability for damages caused by improper installation or removal. For safety reasons, we expressly recommend having all work carried out by a qualified specialist workshop.
Delivery Time & Shipping Partner
All items in stock are usually prepared for shipment within 1–2 business days and dispatched with DHL. After shipment, you will receive a tracking number that allows you to track your delivery at any time.
For pre-ordered spare parts, you will receive a delivery date after purchase. This usually takes 7-10 business days.
Information for Customers from Switzerland
For orders to Switzerland, we cooperate with MeinEinkauf to ensure smooth customs clearance and delivery.
You will receive two tracking numbers:
- A DHL tracking number for shipping within Germany
- A MeinEinkauf tracking number for delivery in Switzerland
The purchase price in the shop is already adjusted to the Swiss VAT.
VAT & Customs for Swiss Customers
Spare Parts: For spare parts, there is no possibility of VAT exemption by German customs – Swiss tax will be levied accordingly.
Bikes/Bicycles: For bikes, VAT exemption can be claimed under certain conditions. The prerequisite for this is that the customer organizes the shipping within Switzerland themselves.
